I had a fantastic experience with Russell Maule IV from Chesapeake Electric. His installation of a new circuit and surge protector in my home was excellent. Russell was not only friendly but also displayed a high level of professionalism and competence throughout the entire process. I highly recommend his services for any electrical needs.

We are super happy with the work done by Ian and team at Chesapeake Electric. Our condo had no ceiling lights and was very dark, so we had Chesapeake wire and install lights in our living space and bedroom. They also installed a chandelier, some new bathroom fans, and a ceiling fan in the office. Everyone was super professional, on time, and they cleaned up really thoroughly after they were finished. They also did their best to mitigate drywall damage, which I appreciate. We are very, very happy with the results, and we have so much more light! We highly recommend Chesapeake Electric and will definitely use them again if we need any more electrical work done.

Needed a next day "simple" outdoor fixture wired. Turned out to be not SO simple as load bearing beam blocked the preferred path. Zach adjusted on fly and job completed in time to mesh with other contractors working on project. Reasonable pricing for all needed materials and labor cost$ on 1Day turnaround. Fast scheduling response, great app and tech on backend.

EDIT: I still think the services are a bit pricey, but in looking back on my old review and in light of recent service, I need to say that the stuff I asked for on two separate occasions was done as quickly as possible and professionally, and went super quick from scheduling to being finished with the appointment. I’m very pleased with all that was done to fix up our kitchen and bring things up to code. That warrants bumping my 4 to a 5, but I’ll leave my original thoughts below after my first service appointment which might’ve been a bit premature considering how much I appreciate the quick and solid work for the time and money spent. A bit expensive but they came out at my convenience, laid out potential packages, listened to my concerns about the work, and completed installing my new 50-amp line fully across the house within the day. If you want it done right now it’s hard to beat Chesapeake’s timing and service.

How do you rate a job you feel was done with such professionalism, patience, care and concern for the area in which they were working in? Let’s just say it warrants 5 stars on the scale. To you Chesapeake, you have hired two exceptional workers that I know of and for that I’m most grateful they were sent to perform the installation of my Chandelier. They’re expertise combined with quiet unique personalities made this a job well worth the money spent. Thank you Chesapeake and the Payne Brothers
