We realized on a Saturday morning at 10:30 am that we had no outside electricity and were hosting a party at 2:30 pm that day. I called several electricians until I reached Chesapeake Electric. They had a technician here by 12:30 and the repair was completed by 2:30, as promised. There was also a follow up appointment two days later to complete the work. The technician, Casey, was very professional and extremely polite and did everything possible to get our power back on in time for our event. We are pleased with the efficient and thorough service and our only complaint is the very expensive price. We realized that a Saturday service was going to cost more and we really had no choice, but we would probably shop around if we had another non emergency electrical issue.

Had an excellent experience with Chesapeake Electric. Everything was explained in detail and repair options were easy to understand to make informed decisions. We have used other electric services but the attention to detail and listening to our concerns was over and above what we have had before. The team from Chesapeake Electric was absolutely great! Needed a 240 circuit run in order to add a hardwired EV charger on my garage, and wanted to add whole house surge protection. From estimate to the finance team and the installers everything went without a hiccup, and I can charge reliably at home now. Yes, they are more expensive than others - I did get multiple quotes. But the permitting is in place and the job was done very well.

They were professional, and highly skilled. On top of that they were responsive and easy to talk to you.

I had lost some equipment due to lightening. These guys gave me lightening protection. Nice! Now I can stop worrying about it. Thanks guys!
