Chesapeake Cares

Real help for real people, right when it’s needed most.

Our mission is to provide essential electrical services to those who lack the means, despite their dedicated service to others. During our daily operations, we have the privilege of meeting countless individuals, each with a unique story. Occasionally, we encounter extraordinary situations. In such cases, one of our technicians may nominate the customer for the Chesapeake Cares program. If approved, the technician then gathers the necessary resources, and a team of technicians donates their time to support this worthy cause.

It’s one of the most rewarding parts of what we do. From restoring power to someone in need to simply showing up and lending a hand, Chesapeake Cares lets us turn compassion into action.

You’ll see a photo here of a Chesapeake Cares recipient with our team — and another of a dog with a cooler, sent as a thank-you from one of our loyal customers who helped support the cause. These moments remind us why we do what we do.
