I had two appliances not working so I called Chesapeake Electric to check the power from my meter thru the circuit breaker box and to the appliance. All was good. They suggested a power surge from the super windy weather we had was probably the problem. They offered 3 different packages for surge protection. We went with the simplest and least expensive. They came back the next day and installed it. Due to time constraints on my part I didn't have time to get competitive bids. This was not inexpensive but I have no idea if it was a good or bad price. Everybody from Chesapeake was very polite, friendly, and professional.
