Dear Mr. Deshaies and CO.,

I am writing to formally express my family’s sincere gratitude for the exceptional service and support we received following the house fire at our home.

During an incredibly difficult and stressful time, Chesapeake Electric, under the ownership of Mr. Deshaies, provided outstanding service, professionalism, and dedication. I would especially like to recognize Head Master Electrician Matt for his extraordinary hard work, long and tedious hours, and the kindness and professionalism he consistently demonstrated throughout the process. His expertise, personal involvement, and willingness to go above and beyond were invaluable. In particular, we are deeply grateful for his assistance in ensuring the electrical work was completed properly, for helping us obtain the correct invoices, and for providing the explanations necessary to support our insurance claim. His continued support in addressing the full electrical panel replacement, house rewiring, and additional secondary damage related to environmental causes was truly exceptional.

I would also like to extend our heartfelt appreciation to Mr. Deshaies and his team for the remarkable restoration services they provided. From the very beginning, Chesapeake Electric's prompt response, timely and flexible scheduling, and close attention to detail gave us reassurance during an emergency situation caused by a freak event of nature. They quickly arranged a comprehensive damage assessment, and their team worked diligently to restore our home.

Their efforts included bringing in expert electricians, thoroughly inspecting and diagnosing all issues and related systems, and conducting a meticulous top-to-bottom, floor-to-ceiling professional electrical home renovation service. They successfully removed the damaged items, cables, wires, and all pertinent necessities and went above and beyond to help ensure our home was safe and that quality newly installed and properly tested lines and equipment were restored for our family’s comfort and well-being.

Mr. Deshaies themself, the owner of the company came out and spent over 12 hours during the initial cause, diagnosis, assessment, and worked hand-in-hand, rolling up their sleeves to assist Matt and their other team members in everything electric. They personally went back to their warehouse to save time and pick up all necessary equipment, inventoried, and laid the foundation for a meticulous insurance quote and detailed invoicing to include all necessary before and after the damage pictures. They wrote a personal professional email to explain to the insurance company the gravity and necessity of the situation and all the work that was being completed to include the secondary issues arising from the fire, to ensure we were 100% covered and taken care of.

Both Chesapeake Electric CO., Mr. Deshaies and his team demonstrated an exceptional level of professionalism, compassion, and commitment during one of the most challenging times our family has faced. Their hard work and care made a tremendous difference, and we wanted to ensure their efforts were formally recognized and shared with leadership.
