Excellent 1st experience with Chesapeake Electric! Ethan and Jeff came out to help replace an dying wall sconce, and to provide recommendations for updates to our old wiring and outlets. They were timely, friendly, and organized, and presented us with several options about potential/recommended steps. We settled on a phased approach that will provide flexibility and increase safety around the house, which is great. The light installation was a breeze, and the fellows were careful to clean up and recommend bulbs and a solution to the pull chain we didn't want. Lastly, it was obvious that the guys really like their work and enjoy helping people. It was a pleasure chatting with them, and we'd highly recommend them!
The on call technician Mike Greene couldn’t have been more helpful! He was able to get the issue resolved and followed up to confirm BGE was on there way to get our power restored! Would absolutely call Chesapeake Electric for any future issues and would absolutely recommend!

We called Chesapeake Electric when we lost power in all outdoor outlets on the back of the house.(Not surprising with the weather, but…) Mike and his team came out(at the agreed upon time), assessed what needed to be done and did it in one visit. They also identified other issues in our wiring and gave us a no-nonsense appraisal of the priority for repairs. Mike worked with his team seamlessly.
Mike clearly and patiently explained everything to us and suggested alternatives at different cost levels. We signed a very reasonable maintenance plan with Chesapeake to keep all of our electrical ‘stuff’ safe.

William came out as an on-call technician and we are so thankful for his expertise and professional service. He checked all our outlets meticulously to ensure our safety and gave us advice on how to use our space heaters during a weekend with no heat in our home.
