Derek & the install crew obviously have strong expertise and they were prompt, friendly, polite and engaging, offering clear and detailed answers to our questions. I had a fantastic experience with Russell Maule IV from Chesapeake Electric. His installation of a new circuit and surge protector in my home was excellent. Russell was not only friendly but also displayed a high level of professionalism and competence throughout the entire process. I highly recommend his services for any electrical needs.
A quick google search of "best electricians near me" provided me with Chesapeake Electric, and I am glad it did! From setting up the appointment to my electrician (Aaron), the company was awesome and made short work of my project. I will be using them time and time again!
EDIT: I still think the services are a bit pricey, but in looking back on my old review and in light of recent service, I need to say that the stuff I asked for on two separate occasions was done as quickly as possible and professionally, and went super quick from scheduling to being finished with the appointment. I’m very pleased with all that was done to fix up our kitchen and bring things up to code. That warrants bumping my 4 to a 5, but I’ll leave my original thoughts below after my first service appointment which might’ve been a bit premature considering how much I appreciate the quick and solid work for the time and money spent.
A bit expensive but they came out at my convenience, laid out potential packages, listened to my concerns about the work, and completed installing my new 50-amp line fully across the house within the day. If you want it done right now it’s hard to beat Chesapeake’s timing and service.
