Ian and Chesapeake Electric did an amazing job in updating our home’s electrical system. Ian identified several fire hazards that we didn’t even realize was there (especially in our daughters’ bedroom)! My husband and I have peace of mind that our home’s electrical system is now safe for our family. Thank you!

EDIT: I still think the services are a bit pricey, but in looking back on my old review and in light of recent service, I need to say that the stuff I asked for on two separate occasions was done as quickly as possible and professionally, and went super quick from scheduling to being finished with the appointment. I’m very pleased with all that was done to fix up our kitchen and bring things up to code. That warrants bumping my 4 to a 5, but I’ll leave my original thoughts below after my first service appointment which might’ve been a bit premature considering how much I appreciate the quick and solid work for the time and money spent. A bit expensive but they came out at my convenience, laid out potential packages, listened to my concerns about the work, and completed installing my new 50-amp line fully across the house within the day. If you want it done right now it’s hard to beat Chesapeake’s timing and service.

From the original sales visit/estimator visit, through site survey, interface with business office, and now, the Day 1 generator install, the Chesapeake team has been great ! Derek & the install crew obviously have strong expertise and they were prompt, friendly, polite and engaging, offering clear and detailed answers to our questions. The interface with Derek was the single most positive contractor experience we have ever had ! If this is consistently the culture at Chesapeake, we’re looking forward to a long relationship with the company ! Many thanks ! These guys were fantastic. After calling 2 other electricians with no success, I called Chesapeake Electric. They came in less than 4 hours and right on time! The nicest people and super professional! They provided a detailed explanation of the problem and fixed it quickly at a reasonable price. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Mr. M. Greene was the technician that provided services today. After I pointed out the issue he readily diagnosed what the problems were and advised me on recommendations. He educated me on current codes for fire and C02 monitors. He was able to not only efficiently update my monitors but to also install fire/C02 monitors to all bedrooms. After Mr. Greene completed the installations, he demonstrated how to carry out monthly tests and explained other features of the new monitors. I thank him for a job WELL DONE! My home is now in compliance with fire/C02 safety codes. G. Moye.
